Hamlet Beautification Task Force
We are working on eight project and have a budget of approximately $12,000, excluding labor (which we hope we be donated by local carpenters, masons, gardeners, etc...).
1) The creation of a planted 20' peace sign at the intersection of 212 & 375.
2) New plantings on the Village Green
3) New artistic stone work just across from the Village Green (in front of Loominus)
4) Installing more beautiful trash receptacles throughout town, incorporating recycling elements
5) The creation of a waterfall lookout sitting area, made out of bluestone, on Tannery Brook (betwn Norman Bacon's Sweetheart Gallery and BMG Gallery)
6)Improvement of the Tannery Brook bridge on Tinker Street - including incorporating chimes donated by Woodstock Chimes into the construction of a new artistic metal fence. Also refacing the deteriorated concrete barriers with bluestone
7) New fencing in the triangle at intersection of 212 & 375
8) A New fence, cleanup, and bluestone at the area between the bridgework on 212 and the Byrdcliffe Shop.
